NumID is built on a privacy-first, zero-knowledge architecture. When third-party apps request identity verification through our platform:

  • We verify identity attributes without exposing raw personal data to requesting apps
  • Users explicitly consent to each data scope before any information is shared
  • Personal documents are processed for verification and not retained
  • Only verified attributes (not source documents) are made available

4. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide and maintain our identity verification services
  • Process and complete identity verification requests
  • Send transactional communications (OTP codes, account alerts)
  • Monitor and improve platform security and performance
  • Comply with legal obligations under Algerian law

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Verification data is processed in real-time and source documents are not stored beyond the verification window. Consent grants and verification results are retained as required for audit purposes.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit and at rest, secure token-based authentication, and regular security audits. All data is hosted within Algeria-compliant infrastructure.

7. Your Rights
